If you are over 35 and single but looking what are you using to find a man?

Are you proactive in finding a man? What ages are you looking for? Do you think that men in DC are ageist even if you are as pretty or prettier than most younger women? Do you date younger men and do you recommend it?

I am 57 and only date younger men. I find them on Tinder. Or out in public (prepandemic)

It depends OP- what are you looking for in this man? Marriage and kids? That’s a different situation than the 57 YO PP above.

Only trolls like you suggest ageism, OP.

I love older women. They’re more fun, more secure in who they are, genuine, better senses of humor, great conversationalists, just incredibly more pleasant to be around. And because they usually aren’t hung up on made-up drama and insecurities, make for phenomenal lovers. The best!

I'm a 52 year old female. I have no trouble dating. I date men who are younger or my age. Tinder and Match are good. I'm not looking to get remarried. Just want a partner who likes to travel after the vaccine and have fun.

I once read that in order to find someone you may have to proactively work to find that person rather than waiting for fate to intervene or that person to find you. I looked around at my married friends and family and realized that was how they approached things. I started proactively dating on Bumble (pre-pandemic), arranging one date a week, viewed it as a numbers game, and tried not to let my self-esteem/ego get involved. I did not find men to be ageist at all- some were interested, some were not. I didn't pursue the uninterested ones, and that lead to success.

I'm 43 and use online dating. I'm a little different because I have 0 interest in marriage or cohabitation with a man; I'm divorced with 2 kids and am not going to do the blended family thing.

I've used match, tinder, and bumble. Bumble is my favorite, but really it's all the same people on all of them.

Never have trouble finding a date.

Who said anything about babies in this thread? If I am going to spend time with someone an older woman, on average, makes a much better companion than a woman 40 and younger. All those attributes listed above are spot on. I’d add one more where they’re generally superior-intelligence.
