After 3 long months of waiting, our new couch is about to be delivered. We never saw it in person or sat on it, and now I'm nervous I won't like it.
I've also heard a lot about how shitty the furniture is from this company (West Elm) since ordering, so I'm having some purchase regret. If the delivery people get the couch in, and I don't like it, do I just send it back with them? |
Yes refuse it. Don't let them leave without taking it. |
Can you cancel the order before it arrives? It’s going to be a hassle to unwrap, test, and send back — and get your money back |
FWIW, I liked our West Elm sofa a lot. Our cats destroyed the upholstery but it held its shape well. I do HATE that West Elm doesn’t allow reviews on its site, though, so I won’t buy from them anymore. But I bet your sofa will be fine. |
Glad yours was good but our is the worst sofa I've ever owned. About to sell it for $100 on Marketplace. And will let potential buyers know that it is not a great sofa. |
I hated the Henry with a passion. What a crap sofa. 3 years in and it looks like absolute crap. I’ve given up on west elm, the quality is on par with Ikea but twice as expensive. |
