Hi all, if anyone has experience with the the Brooksfield school, Temple Rodef Nursery School, or Dolley Madison Preschool, can you please share your thoughts? Most are not allowing in-person tours due to the pandemic, and I'm finding it impossible to make a decision.
Thanks in advance! |
All three are established and well-respected. Very different, of course, in approach: play-based, Reggio, and Montessori. You'll have to decide which is best for your child's personality. |
We will be sending our 2 years old to Rodef in the fall |
Any other input? |
My son did one year at Brooksfield for KG (last minute find due to closure of FCPS in fall 2020) and now my 3 year old has been there since Aug 2021. We love it! The teachers are absolutely wonderful, great outdoor space and great variety of "classes" (gardening, yoga, music, spanish, etc). |
We applied to Brooksfield and a few others - have notices started to go out for acceptances or not? (My DS is going to be 2)
I meant to apply to Dolley Madison and just didn't get around to it. Doh! |
Everyone I know that sent their kids to Temple Rodef (Jewish and non-Jewish families) has wonderful things to say about it, and they all send their kids back for summer camp. |
Both of my kids went to Rodef, my younger child graduated a couple of years ago. We loved the school and the community, and would highly recommend it. |
