Summer before senior year -- looking for good in-person pre-college programs and activities

Anonymous
DS will be a senior next year. We are trying to figure out options for this summer. His older brother did a pre-college program before his senior year that was an excellent experience but of course that was pre-Covid. The most important part of that experience was living in a dorm with roommates on a real campus. I can't see spending the money for an on-line summer precollege program, which is what most seem to be offering this summer, and I just don't think it will nearly as good an experience.

Has anyone found wonderful pre-college programs that are actually happening in person this summer?

Get a lifeguarding job and chase chicks. Not every single thing you do has to be a preparation for the next stage of life.

No help her, but I would look to the south because there seem to be more in person classes. Clemson had a summer program pre Covid.

Another vote for getting a job.
