| So-I know this is a DCUM forum but can anyone please share what you know are in person for HS? Any state? please be specific. We are done with FCPS and fortunately can now move. Thank you so much for any help. |
| The Derp South is your paradise. |

Moving during in high school is very hard on kids. Really really hard on kids.
Please wait another year or two or three. |
| We have friends in school in CT and PA. Good luck! |
|
CT, PA, NY, VT, ME, NJ, PA
The list goes on and on. |
| I second that moving now is going to be very hard on your kids. If you have the money to move, use it on tutoring. |
| Most Ga schools are open. |
| This is such a fake post. Please. |
|
Almost any other area but the DMV is open. Denver? San Diego?
Not Chicago. Lol. But really. Why move? Just pay for private school. It’s open too. |
| All the public schools that I attended a a child in SC are open and educating. |
| You really have to check with the specific district and schools. In MA some schools have been remote all year, others hybrid with a remote option for families who want it, now concurrent is a big thing in hybrid schools, and I can’t name one but I’ve heard some public schools might be going back full in person soon. I actually heard from my hair stylist that our local district (20 minutes outside of Boston suburb) might send the HS kids back for five full days soon... so no matter what state you choose, make sure you speak with someone in the specific district to hear what they’re currently doing and what they do if an outbreak happens or anything. It seems like smaller districts are going back sooner. |

Move go on. LOL
Any Q state will do. |
I know of a few districts in MA that have been remote all year. Looks like about 77% of schools in MA have been open in some way (most hybrid) and 23% have been remote all year. So I don’t think anyone can say that a particular state has all schools opens... it seems like you’ll find all the different models in every state depending on the district’s choice. https://www.masslive.com/boston/2020/12/77-of-massachusetts-schools-have-some-form-of-in-person-learning-23-are-remote-as-covid-pandemic-continues.html |

Arkansas, Iowa, many parts of Florida and Texas.
I love Ames and Iowa City btw |

Check what districts in Ohio are open. I grew up in the Cleveland area and every district there is local control, no county-wide battleships that take months to make even the slightest decisions. Look at Rocky River, Westlake, and Brecksville-Broadview Heights.
My friends in Florida are mostly back too, but that’s more of a mixed bag in terms of quality. |
