Just has my 32 week ultrasound, and baby girl’s head was measuring smaller than anticipated and there’s a heart issue we need to get evaluated further — suspected tricuspid regurgitation. Anyone experience either of these issues? What was the outcome? I’m actually particularly nervous about the head size.

My friend's baby had a small head size on an ultrasound. Many tests and visits to specialists later, her doctor realized that she and her husband both have relatively small heads. Baby was completely fine. She wrote about it in the Post, but I cannot find the article.
Good friend had 3 babies with heart issues in utero. All had corrective surgery shortly after birth and turned out just fine. Run the traps, get it checked out, but it may be nothing and/or completely treatable. |
I hope and will pray that the smaller head will mean nothing more than an easier delivery for you, dear. Wishing blessings on you both.
Hoping for the best. Often its nothing or a random mistake by the tech or doctor doing the ultrasound. Get it checked out. Sending prayers
OP. Thanks for all these kind replies, I really appreciate it.
My daughter’s head was <3 percentile at 32 weeks and birth but grew to like 50% by her two month appointment. No heart issues though. Hope everything turns out okay ❤️
