Please tell me what I am supposed to do for Valentine's Day cards at daycare

This is completely new to me. What do you do for Valentine's Day cards? How much do you personalize each one?

We bought some from the store, stuck in some candy or a small toy, and signed the appropriate names. Do not put too much work into these.

usually the teacher will tell you what to do. Last year the teacher told us to send a certain number with only my kids name on them and a brown paper bag with her name on it to bring the ones she received home in. We bought regular ones with a sticker attached, she received very similar ones, some with a treat or like a fake tattoo, sticker, pencil, etc.

Thank you!

Sign your kids name and tape it to a sheet of stickers or a little pack of candy or snacks.

ask the director and teachers in classroom. Each school has different suggestions, some don't do it, others do some but not others, etc. And MANY schools do NOT want candy coming in - that is one thing we DO NOT WANT.

Yeah just write YOUR kid's name on each one. That's it.

If you want to add candy or whatever, fine. But for the under 4 year olds Valentine's day is a big mystery so they don't care at all.

The whole concept is stupid AF. Don't give us candy or crappy toys. Even a card is a waste. I don't expect shit from my husband, kids shouldn't be celebrating Valentine's Day either.

Actually my kids love it. You sound like an unhappy person.

And my husband and I still celebrate Valentine's day.

I LIKE doing stuff like this. I do it for me, not for anyone else.

This year I'm doing a pack of stickers and a little fancy chocolate. Whatever, if you think it's stupid toss it in the trash.

Wow, what a grump you are. My kids love getting cards from their classmates - after a week or two, I toss them. Celebrations are fun - you should try it! Maybe a little joy will come into your life.

We buy a classroom card pack at target, cvs, etc. For daycare, I choose a sticker or temporary tattoo one that more or less aligns with my kid’s interests (paw patrol, unicorns, etc). I don’t buy candy ones for daycare. Write their name multiple times and done.

Ours isn't allowing people to bring things from home. The school is providing cards and candy and little gifts.

Just get the little cards from CVS, but ask your daycare first, ours isn't do a valentine's exchange, they're just doing crafts.

+1
Yep, that way your kid can just go up and down the aisle/throughout the classroom dropping off the cards much easier. No names to match up.
