I have light hair, but there’s too much of it. I’ve been shaving but my skin is now really raw and irritated. Anyone have any method they love? Or maybe a really great shaving lotion that will help?

Following. Same issue. I break out from just about anything plus use retin-a which limits options.
I am thinking of doing laser hair removal but not sure it is dark enough on my face to work. I get my legs done soon and will ask about it |
Epilator. Hurts like hell though. I did a couple of rounds of laser which thinned out the long thick hairs and made it so I can go longer between epilation.
I spend an hour every two weeks with music on, Tweezerman, a reading light, and a magnifying mirror.
Does anyone know if those at home hair removal laser/light gadgets actually work on the fac I tweeze but my chin is getting so bad I have to keep up with it nearly every day!
I've wondered too. There was a post last week or so where people discussed what the bought and their opinions. They were pretty expensive. |
Here comes the product plug.
I use a hair removal cream. It's cheap and easy.
Just ordered the Kenzzi IPL hair removal device. It has gotten good reviews from people on YouTube. Hope it works for me, too.
I’ve had good results on my facial hair with the Silk’n Glide. It doesn’t get rid of the light peach fuzz, though, just the darker hairs. It was also great on my underarms. Legs and bikini line are taking much longer, but at least the hair has thinned down considerably, which means I shave less often and get less irritated.
Before Covid I used to get my face and brows threaded at a salon run by Indian women. Now I shave and tweeze.
You need a quality men’s razor. Don’t ever use a women’s razor. They are worthless.
First of all that one looks exactly like the $60 ones. Second you absolutely need to make sure you buy an FDA approved item from an established company as this device can cause cancer if certain light waves are not blocked from reaching your skin. |
Magic Shave
Twinkle razor. Pre-covid I used to get my face threaded every 3-4 weeks. I love the twinkle razor. I doubt you need a men's razor if you are just now worried about your facial hair.
