She's trying to raise her profile. She does seem fairly sane for a Republican *fingers crossed*
But at this point, who knows her real intent. I expect any member of the GOP to be backstabbers as part of the intra-conservative Hunger Games. |

The last two elections in her district split right down the middle. I'm guessing her sensibility is driven by that.
The hard part is to politicians in redder districts to behave the same way. |

Look at her campaign and she’s just as Trumpy and crazy as the rest of them. She is doing a good job pretending to be a reasonable Republican, though.
Aside: she’s one of the first class with women graduates at the Citadel after the Supreme Court forced it to accept women in the 1990s. |

She’s quite pretty.
Also, in her race against Joe Cunningham, they seemed to be quite buddy-buddy. Almost flirtatious with each other. Weird dynamic. |

Please take a look at the map of congressional district 1 in South Carolina. It very conveniently leaves out the entire downtown peninsula of the City of Charleston while including the more traditionally Republican areas of Mount Pleasant and Beaufort County. Nancy Mace is GARBAGE. |
