Does anyone have experience with the parents day out program for 2 year olds? The Seneca academy has one so I’m interested to see if anyone has done it. Tuition for the program seems cheap. |
I have several friends that did it and raved about it. It sounds like a tight knit community and they made many mom friends'. |
Yes. It’s a very nice program. Two days a week from 9-1. I believe there is a one day option also. Classes are very small this year (6 kids I think) due to covid. They’ve been in person the whole year except the week after thanksgiving and the week after Christmas. Those weeks they did virtual
(It was short - maybe 45 minutes). Happy to answer any specific questions. It is a very nice community. |
Thanks. This is helpful. Do you know why tuition rates are so much cheaper than other daycare/preschools in the area. The website says $3200 for the two day program. Is that accurate? |
Yes that’s accurate. Not sure why tuition is cheaper other than it’s Darnestown. Seneca has the elementary kids come first, then the regular preschool kids come, and then the PDO kids come a couple weeks later. PDO doesn’t start until mid October, so keep that in mind. It’s a really nice facility, especially for Covid. All the HVAC systems are separate, there are multiple entrances to spread kids outside in and they have lots of outdoor space. |
