OOB Lottery: Tyler traditional program versus Spanish Immersion

Hello:

The DCPS OOB lottery gives me different options for Tyler Elementary between the traditional program and the Spanish immersion. Obviously, the programs involve different pedagogies and curricula, but I'm wondering whether the program are about of the same caliber over all or if anyone on this forum would recommend one over the other. (Or, alternately, if it's worth using 2 of my 6 choices for Tyler and selecting both.

Tyler's showing promise and improvement in the traditional program. However, the reason to go there and the rising star is the Spanish Immersion. Unless being in the regular program somehow improves your odds of getting into Spanish Immersion then it really doesn't offer any advantages.
