LCPS unusual activity

Considering the past and the school district’s MO I find it rather concerning that it’s 5 PM (it has been snowing for 14 hours straight in western LoCo) and there is still no call from Mr. Wayde.

Why is this? Are they truly expecting our heroes to risk their lives when the forecast says it will continue snowing until tomorrow night and in some parts Tuesday morning?

Has Byard been demoted?

We’ll have the call within the hour. They seem to like to call at 6.

I don’t agree with most of LCPS’s calls, especially during distance learning, but I don’t kid myself that we will have school today or probably tomorrow.

Did you mean tomorrow Monday and next day Tuesday?

Monday is an asynchronous day. Maybe that’s why?

Yes. Sorry. 2 days off minimum. (I don’t agree, just saying what I think will happen after 10 years in the system.)

Wayde just called. I’m recouping a leave day from maternity leave. If I can get Tuesday too that’d be awesome!

If we go Wednesday B day is now going to be 2 days ahead of A day classes due to A day having the 2 hour delay/Verizon broke day last week and a snow day Tuesday. So I want Wednesday to be off too **only** to keep A day reasonably on track with B day. It’s a nightmare when one set of classes gets multiple days ahead of others due to schedule imbalances. I dread Wednesday being a 2 hour delay. The absolute most intolerable and terrible of all choices.

I want Wednesday to be off so I can recoup two days off from my 3 week leave. Absolute godsend.
