Which clinics are easiest to get an appointment at

I'm trying to do an initial fertility workup and wondering where it's easiest/quickest to get an appointment in the DMV. I've heard it can take months to get an apt with some REs and don't want to wait that long.

I got one within a couple weeks at Shady Grove but that was shortly after they reopened last spring.

I think I got one within a week at Columbia in fall 2019.

I try to be helpful, but wow... just call and see. That will vary month to month and probably week to week.

Shady Grove, if you’re not particular about a specific doctor.

I think only rarely one would need to wait months long. That is if you have to have a particular RE and that RE happened to be unavailable.

Every clinic has several REs. They have to rotate doctors 7 days a week because ovulation doesn't come only on weekdays. So chances are you can get an appointment for any RE in a clinic rather quickly.

Call Genetics & IVF Institute - they usually have appointments available very quickly
