Summer classes for 3 year old and Mommy

I am looking for some fun summer classes for my soon to be 3 year old and myself. My son goes to preschool 5 days a week, so I am worried some of the classes I have read about may bore him.

Any ideas? I have done the "Little Gym" What about Music Together? Good for 3 year olds who are used to a preschool setting?

I am not sure where you live but here are some ideas for some ad hoc programs:

1. the various nature centers (In Arlington there is Long Branch and Gulf Branch) run programs during the week about once a month for children and their parents
2. the various musueums have programs for children and their parents.
3. some of the counties have drop in, indoor play places a couple of days a week for children accompanied by their parents
4. there are several children's musicians that tour the various venues in the area. If you find one that you like you can check there websites to see where they will be during the week.
