Partisans are crippling this country. They offer black and white solutions: you have this or that, not both. We need someone who offers “and” solutions not “or” solutions. We need immigration AND controls (eg, tracking those who enter and leave). We need migrant worker visas that show we respect migrants while making clear that citizens are our priority. Migrants here need to be safe while respecting our laws (eg, don’t come here without approval). Businesses should be allowed to hire approved migrant workers snd be punished for hiring undocumented ones especially those exploiting workers with unsafe working conditions.
