+100

They're still debating about who will take what.

Lock it up MV will be the 2008 coach for the girls... McLean's parents are worried now

Considering his leadership drove BRAVE into a merger or out of ECNL and his 09 team is in dead last, it is safe to say anyone who gets him should feel worried.

Is he that bad?

His ECNL 09 - 0 win and score 3 times

Sorry, was he on the field or were the players?

He has A license, and all his parents love him. we will not come if he is not coaching our dd

Did he select the players on the team?
It seem like you are a fan of MV, please share why?

I don't think anyone will miss kids from a winless team who do not follow a bad coach.

Cool story. Don’t come - one less.

He also won a NPL state cup back in 2015. Who cares. His teams are generally bad, he is a small time community club coach who is in over his head. He has no college placement track record.

Yeah, McLean families have every right to be worried.

And you attribute that record all to the coaches and not the talent of the players they are working with?

The coach picked the talent and coached the talent.

Coaches can only pick the talent that comes to their id sessions. It’s not like there is a single talent pool for all the clubs to draft from

If there was a single talent pool, some coaches would be better at drafting than others. Consider 2024 the year of the single talent pool. Who do you want as your coach?

He hasn't proven anything so I'd still not choose him. He wasn't a draw to BRAVE before and he isn't a draw now.

Union 08 Coach has a track record of college placement and, oh by the way, coaches college. That is a lot more important and relevant than the result of 1 game.

During BRAVE's existence they have committed 15 girls over 3 years.

Some BRAVE players and some BRAVE teams are good. If FVU wants a BRAVE team then this should be your coach because that is who he is going to pick if he can. But he might not be able to completely since some of the best players have had him for a decade and will use this as a chance to look elsewhere and leave for other clubs for better development and recruiting. Its a benefit to Arlington and VDA and Loudoun. But FVU will definitely get players 6-13 on every BRAVE roster no matter what. Good luck.

McLean will keep their players and Brave players will fill in the gaps.

This isn't about Union wanting a team, it is about players. If he coached players for over a decade that is pathetic. Cut the cord already.

There is a single talent pool. Everyone who is moving. You will see the same kids at Loudoun, VDA, Arlington, and sometimes SYC, Revolution, FCV. Will you see them at FVU? Is that their top choice? Depends on the coach.

Their GA program is based out of Loudoun, unlikely they move this as there would be no place for them to train in Springfield.

Their program still needs to release to the public what their replacement field will be for Revolution since their lease is up in August. They'll still have county fields but need another to function in Loudoun.
