I don't know but I was induced unexpectedly at 1pm on a Friday. I delivered 2.5 hours later. You may not get your usual doctor over a weekend.

They don’t (I had inductions for all three kids at VHC - on a Monday each time, because of this!)

My induction was scheduled for a Monday morning. Though I had to wait around to be admitted and didn't go back until 1pm. Baby arrived at 9pm.

The closest I got to a weekend was going in Sunday night for cervidil.
