Plastic Surgery Questions: Pelosi

Anonymous
I don't really understand much about plastic surgery, facelifts, what to fix and what not to, and all the rest but I've been wondering about this. Fifteen years ago when she first got on the scene, Pelosi and her plastic surgery seemed to be the butt of everyone's jokes. The tight face with the bug eyes. Too California. From like 2009 - 2013, all I ever heard was people marveling at how great she looked and how she couldn't possibly be in her 70s. Her face finally loosened up but her forehead was wrinkle free. Plastic surgery success. Now, she undoubtedly looks good but it doesn't feel plastic because she doesn't look flawless, just like an old lady who happens to look good. Isn't that supposed to be the trajectory of major work? Is Nancy Pelosi an example of a longterm plastic surgery success story? I feel like that would be almost ironic given all the crud she's gotten for her looks over the years It's not about freezing your face to look 45 forever, it's about aging more gracefully. Does anyone even have an educated guess as to what she got done? I have no way of being able to tell. It looks like it was good though.
Images are 2003, 2010, and 2020 btw.

All I can say is that I wish I could find out who her doc is.

She looks much better now than the 2003 job.

All that scrolling hurt my eyes so here's a side by side. These photos were take 19 years apart.

In addition to any work she had done, some people look better if they gain just a little weight and wear slightly longer hair to cover their neck.

I want to know whom Laura Bush sees. Incredible job.

I think her work is great but she also has learned how to relax and smile better for the camera.

Her makeup is much better, the eyeliner especially.

I think the old method was more just to yank the skin high and tight, and now they do more sophisticated things that use fillers, etc., along with judicious adjustments to the skin.

Also I really think if you get it done too early it's aging. I said this about Melania but if you get a 60 year old's facelift in your 40's, it's going to make you look like 60 year old with a facelift. Same thing with too much fillers too young.

This.

Her early 2000s makeup was pale, cold and harsh. Recent pics show a warmer makeup approach that is softer and more flattering.

Well the HAIR. My god that hair would age you 20 years. My mom had a short do like that at my wedding in 1998 and looks younger now at 77 then she did back then. She has an elegant bob now.

I'm obviously talking about Pelosi's short hair in the red jacket

She looks good now. She’s 80. At 60, she looked 60. At 70, she looked 60. At 80, she looked 70. I credit whatever they did with her undereyes. Sucking the fat? Eyelift? She looks GOOD.

Really? I don’t think she did. I think business clothes are just more flattering now.
