CCL keeps getting stronger, VBR Star joins USL Academy

Does this mean VBR Star is pulling out of CCL? |
| I think are are using it to recruit better players, all USL players are required to play CCL also. I think there teams will get better now, which they need badly. |
| The entourage to prop up CCL on internet is hard at work. Hopefully you’re getting paid to promote that garbage xD |
Can we give the term “garbage” some rest? Along with “trash?” You are referring to collections of kids. You probably shouldn’t refer to adults in that manner either. I could care less about what you think about soccer. Most people would call all soccer played in this area pretty substandard. You wanna share that view with your child? |
| great idea. more fees and play a double schedule - CCL AND USL academy league with more travel. |
Yes and no, Most of the players with pro potential are traveling to Charlotte or NOVA daily for training and games. This will significantly cut their travel and costs. Its for the best 16 or so players aged 15-19. Remember this is for the very few that want to try to play professionally. Definitely the best model for smaller clubs. |
I would say that around 90% or more of players around our area are not not enough and would not be able to make the college ranks. Hence, calling any team, boys or girls, is pretty pathetic. (PS I am not either of the PP.) |
| There’s a girls program thread discussing this now. CCL might be okay for boys but it’s a serious league for girls. |
