Before and After Care at Shepherd other than what the school offers

I haven't heard too many positives in regard to before/after at Shepherd. Does anyone know of any outside programs that do drop off and pick up of the kids? Thanks much.

There is a martial arts camp on Georgia Ave in Silver Spring that picks up and delivers via mini-van. Hearsay was not a great program. There is at least one parent in the school who runs an aftercare program, I don't feel comfortable posting the name in this setting, but she has been active in the PTA and offered a month or two of aftercare in last year's auction, so you could track her down via the PTA auction committee.

My friend's kid is in after care in Shepherd (prek). She's not thrilled about it (thinks they spend too much time on academics), but she thinks it's acceptable. In general, after care depends on how old your kid is. it's going to be tough on 3/4 yr olds no matter where you are.
