What was your Letrozole or Clomid dose?

If you weren't PCOS. I'm DOR and trying timed intercourse with meds while we wait for treatment coverage to kick in. Just wondering what dose others took and whether you did a trigger shot. Thanks.

I also have DOR and was prescribed a variety of clomid doses over the years. But 50mg and timed intercourse worked for me. In addition to supplemental estrogen and progesterone after ovulation. I did have a trigger shot, but can't remember the details of that, I'm sorry. It's been a long road...!

FWIW, I now have 2 kids, conceived "naturally" (no IVF or IUI). In both cases, the supplemental hormones after ovulation seemed to have a helpful effect. I have an AFC of 1, literally, and was 34 and 36 when I gave birth.

Not DOR or PCOS. Then I’ll do a trigger if all works out.

Thanks, PPs. Is your goal to get 1 or 2-3 follicles? Should have specified that in my OP, but our goal would be to get "more targets" to shoot for.

Thank you! Were you ovulating on your own when you did the Clomid or was the Clomid to induce ovulation?

I was ovulating on my own. I think the hope with Clomid would be maybe more than one egg being released, or some hormonal support associated with it? I was fine to throw anything into the mix at that point, and never had any side effects from Clomid.

100 mg and trigger shot, 6 x iui between late 39 and early 40, with strong side effects. Unsuccessful so we moved on to IVF.

5mg letrozole with ovidrel trigger shot. I end up with 2 mature follicles each cycle. This current cycle I triggered with a 19mm and 20mm.
