My kids have far outgrown them, and I have 37 of them. I only have a handful of 'bullets' and don't even know what goes to what. Is there a way to recycle these since they are mostly plastic? I don't think I could actually donate these, right? It just seems so wasteful to throw them in the trash. What have you done with your kids' old nerf guns? |
Put them up on your neighborhood buy nothing group on Facebook. Someone will want them. Donate to goodwill. |
I second the buy nothing groups! These would be gone in a split on mine. |
Sell them to me!
Or on your Facebook marketplace. They go like hot cakes on my local virtual yard sale sites. |
Or donate to goodwill- great item. |
Definitely your buy nothing group. But 37- dang! That’s so many! |
I put a notice on Nextdoor and they were gone from my front lawn in 10 minutes. |
Keep a couple in case you ever need them to settle a dispute. |
The awesome used bookstore in Manassas-McKays- will buy them and you can get store credit for books!
I'm sure the Buy Nothing or Freecycle people will take them off your hands as well. |
My son would run to get them! We check Nextdoor regularly for free guns. |
facebook marketplace!!! My kids are obsessed with them. |
Someone will definitely want them. My kid collects nerf darts from the playground & brings them home. Kids love those things. |
Yeah fack goodwill. Making someone rich off your free shit. What a bargain |
Hey, I have a lot of toys from my children.
I gave them all to people who need them I love when I can make some pleasure for others |
Post as others have suggested but save a few if the kids are still at home. Every now and then my teens still take out their own ones. Harmless fun. |
