Egg whites how many days before ovulation?

I had egg white cervical fluid on Sunday and my temperature still hasn't gone up. (it's now Thursday) Last month I ovulated 2 days after having egg white fluid. Has anyone else experience this sort of fluctuation? Is it possible to have egg white fluid and then not ovulate? Should I just keep doing "it"? I'm not sure how many days in a row I can do "it" Thoughts?

For me, based on OPKs, it was about 4-5 days.

For me, I have increased cervical fluid for several days followed by egg white cervical mucus for a few days. Are you sure you had egg white since Sunday?

Also, especially if you are getting older or have irregular cycles, sometimes your body will get ready to ovulate, then delay ovulation (perhaps because of stress) and then ovulate later than usual. Maybe this is what is happening for you this cycle. But in any event, you don't have to have sex every night - you can skip a night.
