Excersaucer or jumperaroo or too late for either?

My baby is a tall 7 month old and I'm debating getting either the jumperoo or excersaucer. Or do you think that at 7 months she is going to outgrow both pretty soon? Is it not worth it? How long did you use for?

We used the jumperoo until they were just walking, so until 14 months.

Mine wouldn't tolerate being confined once they could crawl. We used ours from about 4 months to 7 months!

I think that a child that age should move on to activities like crawling and pulling up. It might slow them down. I think it makes sense more for a four or five month old.

My 9 month old hates his jumper now (it's the one that has all sorts of toys and things, like a rainforest!) now, all he wants to do is crawl crawl crawl! I was just debating today if I should put it away or not.

We have a walker (I know, I know) but he won't use it either, he just wants to use it as a pusher when he stands.

Jumperoo if you're going to get either, but really most babies are done with them and no longer find it much fun by 8-9mos.

Maybe buy one used since it'll be used such a short time?

My son (12 months ) just discovered the jumperoo at his daycare and LOVES it. I was really surprised b/c I put the excersaucer away a few months ago. I'd saw jumperoo. They do love to bounce!

Either one can be a nice place to stash an active baby when you really need to use both hands. Mine is almost 11 months, and we use it in the morning for a few minutes while getting breakfast ready and organized for the day. Used could be a good option, since you won't be getting the full span of use out of it.
