The Alexandria outdoor futsal league has been going very well but I have a feeling there might be some protesters this weekend around the tennis courts that they are using.

Just please make sure you video them in case they attempt a possible insurrection. We can use the video to identify them.

I think the kids will be safe. I believe Alexandria is putting barbed wire along the top of the fence surrounding the tennis courts either Friday night or Saturday morning to keep the tennis players out.

Ours is a money grab, should've done Alexandria but rumor is our director wouldn't allow us to.

PAC Is doing a good job everything is 9v9 small sided fields. The U11 and younger are 5v5 on half of the small sided. Health checks are in place and mask for spectators are enforced. They are video taping every game available for purchase. I think that is something they should look into for the Spring season too. Maybe build it into the cost of the annual fees.

Our outdoor club started back up 3 practices per week and is running their Saturday internal league games.

Going well.

Is this an internal league made up of kids on the travel teams or are there outside teams in this league? How many teams per age group? Where do you play?

Mostly internal but a few outside teams from Mclean, Team America , a few teams from MD and a few more from Va. Nothing too big but enough to keep everyone on the field playing in game type environment. We actually have been trying year round with the exception of the one week between Christmas and New Years.

I think the barbwire is to protect the goals and stuff Alexandria leaves on the courts.

I would love to see a picture of one of the old angry tennis players sitting at the desk of the Alexandria technical directors desk with his feet up.

LOL. These posts made me laugh. I am shocked that the tennis court thread is still going.
