Recommend Your Sheets

I like to sleep. I remember a few years back DH and I were on a trip in Italy. We stayed at a B&B In Venice with the most perfect bed. I slept like the gods. The room was dark, the temperature was cool, the bed spacious, and the sheets soft, cool, comfortable. No twisting or fighting. Plenty of sheet for everyone. I should have asked the brand but it's too late. Because I've saved money on not commuting and splurging on lunches & coffees, I'm going to put that money to use on something lasting, a good night's sleep. So tell me, who sells your dream sheets?

Fortunoff's, may you rest in peace. You are fondly remembered.

Today, with no Fortunoff's, nothing beats Lands End for sheets. Sorry to disappoint they are not terribly expensive.

You could spend savings on a water softener, that would feel luxurious.....

I’ve seen Bloomingdale’s Hudson Park sheets recommended, but haven’t tried them myself. My sister owns an amazing set from Ralph Lauren that she bought at Marshall’s many years ago. So perfectly crisp. I’d pay big money for a set like that, but it feels like a gamble to get something without knowing for sure they are the same ones. I suspect those are a percale set.

I have a Lands End flannel set that I’m very happy with. I also have a 10+ year old flannel set from Martha Stewart that I love, no pilling at all. Doesn’t sound like op wants flannel though.

+1 for Hudson Park sheets (and duvet covers) from Bloomingdales - very high quality, lasts a long time, and incredibly soft.

If you want thick, crisp percale sheets that will last and get softer with age, I highly recommend Red Land cotton. + made in the USA.
