Rockville Nursery School off Adclare Rd (exit 6 from 270). Terrific teachers, small classes. |
Christ Episcopal School in Rockville has an excellent preschool. The teachers are really warm and supportive and and have a ton of experience. They can handle all of the little ups and downs of toddler/pre-K development with ease, appropriate support and professionalism. I've seen a couple of kids who had separation anxiety when they first started and they were sooo good and patient with them - like, beyond. We had our son there and he is now in 1st grade but we have a toddler we are enrolling there in the Fall and are actually excited about being there again. But my older son still talks about them and asks to visit. |
What type of schedule are you looking for? |
This. Are you looking for full time or MWF half days classes? |
Coop or regular? There’s also ECC and Georgetown hill off falls. Potomac Glen, Geneva |
Rockville/Derwood area there is Mill Creek Parish Preschool. Very much a word of mouth kind of place. A few of my coworkers kids went there. It's been fantastic for my shy/slow to warm up child. Lots of schedule options. |
Geneva Day School is the best! And definitely stay for kindergarten. Your child will love it. |
We loved Bethesda Country Day School. |
+ 1 Our DD was there for PK3 and PK4 and had a similar experience at CES. |
I’ve heard that CES is fundraising to keep the doors open. Does anyone know if there’s a realistic chance they won’t meet their goals? |
I second Geneva Day School. |
They're open for business -- open now and have reached agreement / fundraising to remain in business going forward. |
