Unacceptable attack on Howard County Board of Education offices

Although there is no evidence of the intention or cause of the attack, I believe that the attack on the BoE offices was from people who are upset at the BoE decisions for the school district to remain virtual through 3Q (April 2021).

Whatever the cause for the attack, this is unconscionable and unacceptable to assault the BoE offices and to put hard-working county employees in fear for doing their duty to the county.

You have no way of knowing who did it. It could have been a family member of a teacher who doesn't want to go back too. The decision to remain virtual was made in November. However, people were angry last week about letters potentially calling teachers back February 1. The timeline fits the latter better than the former. But who know? It is reprehensible regardless.

Teachers are smart enough to know attacking the office won’t stop a reopening.
