DMV not delivering decals

I paid in early December $150 for a 3 year vehicle registration that expired that month.
It’s mid January and although I carry my receipt as proof of having paid before the 31st for new license plate decals I haven’t received them yet. Scared sooner or later I’ll get pulled over by a copper who’ll have to issue me a citation despite the proof because there are quotas to meet. Chivalry is out of the equation her and sure I’ll get it thrown out in court but that’s just simply a waste of time and money. Why should I ask off work and miss out on money I need for my bills for someone else’s incompetence? I suppose dmv will blame it on USPS? |
