K’Town - Darnestown Commute?

Anonymous
Hi - I have a job opportunity in Darnestown (general area of Darnestown Heritage Park) and live near Antique Row in Kensington. I have looked it up online and is says commute is 35-65 minutes. That’s a significant range. Does anyone have experience with this route? Curious what it usually actually is and if there’s a particular route that is safer. Thank you!

It depends on traffic and what time of day. Both times are completely plausible.

As far as “safer” , I’m not really sure what you mean?

Sorry - should have been more clear. Meant shorter (safer as in less likely to be disrupted).

Our Temple is in Darnestown, and we live in GP. We usually go 270 to exit 6, and go up Darnestown Rd. I guess you could also go up 270 farther, and then south on muddy branch or shady grove.

Just depends on the time of day, as with most trips around here.
