| I see two squirrels on two trees side by side. Both are staying still (it’s been 5 mins) and are pointing downwards, heads toward the ground. Completely still. |

I’m concerned squirrels, and possibly other wildlife like chipmunks, are eating my neighbor’s rat poison. Saw a very lethargic squirrel the other day near his property. |

| Maybe licking something on the ground. Sometimes they lick stones or grout in our porch wall for certain minerals lacking in their diets. Some people leave out mineral blocks for squirrels for this reason. |

Perhaps just playing. Who ever moves first loses??? Lol.
My two dogs have stare-offs sometimes but they're both so energetic and crazy it never lasts this long. |

| Apparently there was a cat lurking in the bushes below. The squirrels were frozen for upwards of 10 mins. Not sure why they opted to freeze upside down instead of simply running up the tree. |

Animals sometimes freeze when there is a predator nearby but it isn’t advancing towards them- movement is frequently what makes the predator give chase. |
