Already time to sign up for camp?!

I see that registration for the Beauvoir summer camp starts in January! I'd really like to know where my kids are going to school next year before choosing a camp. Do you really need to sign up right away?

And while we're at it, what are your favorite camps for 4 and 5 year-olds in NW DC?

My son had great times at Levine. It was pricey, though.

Favorite camp - that's easy. Saint Columba's. It's non sectarian in the summer. They have the music teacher from WIS teaching there, and a brand new playground built by the community - best playground in DC, I think. It's an old fashioned summer camp, probably not changed much in 30 years.

I second St. Columba's. A real old-fashioned summer camp headed by a wonderful Murch kindergarten teacher, Mr. Welsh.
