| Anyone experience heavy periods and you do not have endometriosis? Not every time, but some cycles I experience heavy and painful periods. Extreme contraction like pain (but only on the 1st day for about 20 - 30 min and then nothing!). Then I'll have a couple months of periods with no pain. I also usually have clots on day 1 and 2 due to a heavy flow. My OBGYN and GYN have both said its normal and that some people have bad periods sometimes. Still I worry. My last pap in October was normal. |
| I have horribly heavy periods. Turns out I had a fibroid. Have they done any ultrasounds for you? |
yes, no fibroid |

There’s also a condition called adenomyosis: “ A condition in which endometrial tissue exists within and grows into the uterine wall.
Adenomyosis occurs most often late in the childbearing years and typically disappears after menopause.” “Sometimes, adenomyosis may cause heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding, severe cramping, pain during intercourse, or blood clots that pass during a period.” Maybe ask your doc about that? |
