Making Up Snow Days

Does anyone know when DCPS will be making up snow days - or when they will decide, if they haven't yet? Summer seems such a long way off, but I am getting ready to sign my kids up for camp and wondering if I should plan for the week of June 21st or not.

Lets hope they cancel some holidays like emancipation day coming up in march and a couple PD days rather than extend the year.

the calendar has 2 days designated MU on June 21 and 22nd. It states: MU (make-up day, if necessary). If I can remember correctly we used 4 days so I am guessing that they will honor these 2 days and add an additional 2 days.

Michelle Rhee said on Kojo Show last Friday that they would decide this week and it might include making up some days before the end of the school year (e.g. prof dev day).

Also, DPCS advised this week that SY 2010-2011 would start on Aug 23 and end on June 17, full calendar to be released "very soon."

Any word on snow day make up? I hope they do not follow MD lead and allow for a waiver
