single serve coffee maker recommendations

Wife really wants a pod/single serve coffee maker. Can anyone recommend one that turns out excellent coffee? My experience with these machines is that they turn out flavorless and watery coffee. There just be some that make a very good cup of coffee. Thanks in advance.

I love Keurig coffe makers. If you have a Costco membership, they have a model in stores right now. It's an excellent price. Also the best price for K-cups is at Bed, Bath & Beyond with the 20% off coupon. If you can't do that, Costco also has a good price.

We have a Tassimo, and it makes good coffee. I am very happy to have bought it. That said, Keurig has way more choices and can be found more places - like Giant and Harris Teeter, so take that into consideration.

We LOVE our Keurig! Ours came from Costco two years ago. My sisters and grandmother(who drinks coffee every hour it seems) love it as well. They all got them last year for Christmas!

I loved (past tense) my Keurig, but it died after 3.5 years. I will definitely get another, but in the meantime I'm using a French Press.

We have a Tassimo. We used it for about a year and then decided it was one of those things - very exciting when you first get it and it is so convenient, but then you realize the coffee actually sucks. We tried at least ten different kinds of coffee and tea. We're back to firing up the espresso machine that sounds like a jet taking off every morning. If you are a hard-core coffee fan, save your money. In the long run you will not use it. It can't compare to freshly ground and made Cafe Americano or espresso.

If you call Keurig they will replcace it.

If you like espresso try the Nespresso machines. So easy to use and really delicious.
