So I had been planning on freezing my eggs at the end of the month but got COVID in December likely through my job. I'm now thinking of waiting until I get the two doses of the vaccine. I'm 38, but I have a good antral follicle count and all my other test results were also good. My job does leave room for a fair amount of exposure, and I wouldn't want to spend the money for the drugs, then be unable to follow through with the procedure. I had only wanted to do this once. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
I would do it before you get the vaccine. We have no clue the effects the vaccine will have on eggs.
Freeze before vaccine
Definitely freeze before vaccine - especially since you already have had COVID which should give you some immunity.
I wouldn't not wait to see what happens with the vaccine. News reports are saying the 2nd dose might be delayed
+1. It could be six months before you get the vaccine don't wait |
Echoing others, freeze now. I froze at 36 and that’s already on the older end. You don’t want to wait any longer at 38.
Freeze now 100%
