We are looking to buy up to 10 large and beautiful pots (5 gallon+) to grow flowers and herbs.
I think Merrifield Garden Center has some selection, but they are awfully expensive. Is there anywhere that stocks these in bulk? We are willing to drive up to 90 minutes from Rosslyn. |
| The least expensive option for these is Costco in the spring garden stuff they sell. They have the very tall ones and they only have one color- blue. |
| I have bought all of mine from nurseries (Homestead, Stadlers, Patuxent) during July and August when they do 50% off or BOGO sales on their pots. These pots are expensive because they use something in the material that makes them freeze resistant so the ceramic doesn't crack or break during the freeze/thaw cycle in winter. |
I found some beautiful ones 2 summers ago at Ross. Haven't seen them again since . Wish I had bought more, they were very inexpensive.

Homesense; Homegoods
May take several trips. Didn't have much last week, but they frequently have a good selection. |
| They are all expensive. Look at estate sales. |
