Anyone’s high schooler attend one of the VA Gov School Summer Academies?

If so how was the experience? My daughter is trying to get into the Gov School for performing arts. She made it past the first round of auditions and has the state audition coming up in a few weeks.
She doesn’t know anyone who has attended, and would like to hear what the experience is like.

Things may have changed in the intervening years, but I attended for the Humanities in the late '90s, and the Arts were held in the same place (at the University of Richmond), so while our main classes were separate, we all mixed in secondary classes and for other activities, meals, etc.

I had an almost uniformly great experience and highly recommend going to anyone who gets in.
