Getting error message on address verification when applying for DCPS preschool

I'm filling out the online form for DCPS preschool. When I enter my son's address, I receive the following message -" Our system does not recognize your address as a valid DC address."
Any ideas on the problem? The system auto corrected St. and entered Street so that is not the problem. I have the correct quadrant entered....not sure how to proceed.

Try contacting the person at the above e-mail address. I have a saved application, that I haven't yet hit submit on, and got an e-mail from her today reminding me that the application has not been filed. So, she's a person in the system. . . .. good luck

I had the same problem. It could be as simple as putting N.W. or N.E. in your address line instead of NW or NE. The page only accepts NW and NE without the punctuation. It still wasn't working for me after that. I saved the application and logged out and then logged back in and it worked. Not sure why. Good luck.
