Who Else Can Hook Up Stuff Besides Myer-Emco?

So, after two years, I finally got around to calling Myer-Emco about coming out to figure out why we can't get certain of our components to wrok with our TV. They were going to call me to set up the appointemnt the following week after we e-mailed, and then I got the announcement that they were going out of business!

We need somebody who can figure out how to hook up our home entertainment system properly and figure out how to integrate some additional equipment into it. We also would like a universal remote.

Suggestions for someone to do this? Whatever the solution is, it is not obvious - my DH is usually pretty good at stuff like this but can't/doesn't have enough time to figure it out. We're in NW DC if it matters.

Pretty much any TV place will do it. Best Buy, Belmont TV. But most of it can be done with a six pack of beer and a friend who knows what they are doing.
