Waxing

I desperately need a Brazilian wax- feel so so gross. The salon I went to pre-pregnancy is taking so many Covid precautions so I feel ok about that, but I know it means lying on my back for quite a while. I’m now 20 weeks so that’s not ideal. Any tips? Everything I’ve read says getting a wax is fine, I’m just sort of trying to figure out the...mechanics of it.

I had a Brazilian at 38 weeks and didn't have any trouble being in my back. It was very quick. She was able to accommodate being on my side, too. Maybe see if that's an option?

You're not on your back for long enough to cause a problem, and you can be on your side or knees if you prefer.

Where are you going you need to be on your back for quite awhile? I am in and out in under ten minutes, probably closer to five.

Haha maybe it just feels like a lot longer than it actually is.

Thanks everyone!

You can get a full Brazilian in five minutes?!?

You can lay on your back. Your body will tell you if it’s an issue. I always wake up sleeping on my back, despite sleeping on my side with a pillow.

Haven't done it during COVID but for my other two pregnancies, I got regular waxes. No issues with being on my back. Easy and quick.

Yes, easily 5-10 minutes. She's quick and I'm a blonde.
