Infertility Support and Discussion

I've heard that eating pineapple helps with implantation after IVF. I'm unclear on how, when and how much should be eaten.
Should it be eaten with other foods, like with breakfast or lunch or should it be on an empty stomach. How much pinapple should I be eating in a sitting and how much each day? Should I be spreading out when I eat the pineapple, like a little in the morning, afternoon, evening? I'm just asking for a little guidance here. I know some people think this is all BS, please don't chime in. I figure that eating pineapple can't hurt, so I'm going to do it. I also know that the core part is the really important part TIA. |

i posted the same question several months ago.
i got lots of responses from women who say it worked. i think you are supposed to eat the core. what i did was cut out the core, and then use it in a smoothie. i added orange sherbert, strawberries, a little milk, ice. it was good, but i could never get the pineapple lumps to disappear and it made me gag. i think i ate maybe 4 smoothies... i don't know how much you are supposed to eat though. anyway i'm pregnant now...not sure if i would attribute my success with the pineapple, but it's a healthy fruit, and if you like it, why not try it? good luck!

| You can eat it anyway and anytime you want as long as you eat the core. Not sure if it was the pineapple or not but I got pregnant after IVF! Good luck. |
| Usually the advice is to cut it up into 5 sections and eat a section a day for 5 days starting 3dpo or so. |
