Treadmill alternative to peloton tread

Thinking about getting the peloton tread, but its $$$$. Is there a nice treadmill that people like that you could use instead, accessing the peloton content on an ipad? I would hate to spend so much money given that at some point, hopefully the pandemic will end and I could spend the money on group fitness classes, which I would tend to enjoy more. Thanks for any advice/ knowledge!

I got an Echelon Stride, and just completed my first treadmill class. I did a bit of research on treadmills before buying this and I'm so happy to report that I was thrilled w/ my first experience.

The reason we ended up going w/ the Echelon was because of size/space concerns. This tread is the most compact on the market while also allowing for sprint 12MPH speed. And around 150lbs (others we looked at were closer to 300lbs), my husband and I wanted something manageable. The design is super minimal so there is are not a lot of pockets/bars. For some reason after looking at many other treads, I started realizing how ugly most of them are!

The cost was $1200, so that was a pretty good deal compared to the peloton and nordic track!

The downsides are that you must use your own phone/iPad for the screen (there is no integral screen). The warranty is only a year. While their other products (bike, etc) have the option for extending the warranty - the extension doesn't exist for the treadmill (at least it didn't when I bought it a month ago). While I've only taken one class. It was great. I don't know how extensive their treadmill classes are, I haven't explored too much yet. I think I will use a subscription like ifit or peloton if I feel like the echelon classes are too limited. There were a lot of negative comments about the motor, but the treadmill seemed to work fine when speeds and incline were pushed to upper limits.

I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a space saver.

We ordered a Sole F80 that’s coming a couple weeks before when they thought it would arrive. Kind of surprising given how everything else is only getting delayed further.
