The director level should already know the plan at a high level. If nothing changes in 25/26, the news should already be leaked out. Wait for another 30 days and let's see. I am OK with either way. My kid is in MLS, and I hope for additional options.

My daughter’s ECNL director/coach said he does not anticipate any changes to ECNL for 25/26. More than likely 9/1 for league games and possibly GY showcases for high school ages.

I would expect some Q1/Q2 bench players will be replaced by Q3/Q4. It is dumb for ECNL not to copy MLS to allow 3 Q3/Q4 players in the younger group.

All national leagues (ECNL / GA / MLSN) should be BY. But I seriously doubt ECNL will stick with BY. The CEO is pretty fixated on his own ideas, and is convinced that aligning with grassroots is what an elite league should do vs aligning with professional / national teams.
