Thanks PPs.

Could you comment on what sets apart schools like Sidwell and GDS apart from the smaller schools like Primary Day and BSW at the lower levels?

I guess 17:29 and 17:50 have had children at 8 different schools! Wow, that's remarkable!

I think its by how good their food is. or how close they are to the beltway. Or maybe the attractiveness of their school colors.

OP here - sorry I meant to ask about ranking in terms of the overall academic experience. Newbie here . I was wondering if some better known schools may be less good than others at lower levels.

Where would Maret fit in academically (for K-3)?

OP -- there's a certain amount of "rating fatigue" on this board. If you're really new, just search "big 3" and you'll see why -- you'll also get the information you seek.

As a Norwood parent, I would put Norwood very high on any list. It's an incredible place.

Three categories because these are 3 different kinds of education:

Beauvoir, WES, NPS, British, Primary Day

Sidwell, GDS

WIS in its own category

In what universe does Primary Day rank higher than British, WIS, NPS or WES? You're off your rocker. And British doesn't really belong on the list.
