Does anyone have good recipes for protein powder that don’t include smoothies? I saw one for hot chocolate today and am looking for some other ideas that have been tried. I don’t eat much meat and am not getting enough protein in my diet- only about 30 grams/day. Trying to add a serving of whey protein powder daily or every other day.
Thank you! |
| Add a scoop to overnight oats. |
So many different ways to flavor the overnight oats. Here's one way I like to do it, which I call the "Peach Pie" Prepared in a mason jar: 1/2 cup oats 2-3 TBS chia seeds 1 TBS ground flax seed Dash of cinnamon or pie spice Splash of Vanilla extract Brown sugar (I add about a TBS about obviously you can reduce) Spoonful of Peach Jam Vanilla Oat Milk 1 scoop vanilla protein powder Mix well, let sit in the fridge overnight In the morning, add some toasted pecans on top |
This sounds delicious! Thank you!! |

You need to get on some Facebook groups. Protein people make a crap ton of recipes with their powders. I'm not a baker, so I never bothered.

| I saw recipes online that used vanilla protein powder in muffins. |
| 30 grams of protein a day is extremely low. Can you eat eggs, dairy, beans, Ezekiel bread? Definitely add the powder but even with one serving of that you will be lower on protein than you should be. |
| I make waffles - one scoop of vanilla protein powder, 1/4 C flour, dash of salt, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/2 t baking soda, 3/8 C milk, one egg. Mix all together and cook in waffle iron. |
| OP here, thank you for the suggestions. Apparently people make mug cakes with protein powder too! I can definitely do chocolate cake every day. |
