Infertility Support and Discussion

Just tested this morning and got a positive!! I'm pregnant!
I miscarried 4 weeks ago, ovulated 2 weeks after that and now am pregnant! I had ovulation symptoms (ewcm), but discounted that as my body getting back to normal and didn't think much of it, to be honest!!! Now, of course, I'm terrified that this was too early and I'll miscarry again. That was my first miscarriage. I have a dd so I know my chances of keeping this pregnancy is high (I've read some places that you're more fertile after a miscarriage).
I don't know what to think! I know for sure the date of conception (did the deed 2 nights in a row) because DH went out of town the following weekend. I can't believe this! I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but I just didn't think it would happen so quickly. Any advice/BTDT stories?? |

No advice, but having just miscarried last week your story gives me hope.
Good luck!! |

I have read of a ton of cases like yours. The only thing is... did yyour levels go all the way back to 0 after m/c? It took me 5 weeks for me.
Gl and if you are pg everything will be fine? |

I have a few friends in your shoes with beautiful healthy children.
It is my understanding that the reason why drs tell you to wait a full cycle is for accurate dating of the pregnancy. Congrats ! |

Thanks everyone!
Yes - my levels went to 0. I actually got a test at dr. 2 weeks ago to check. I'm glad I know the exact 2 dates that it could have been (and they were back to back!), so not dating issues! I'm still in shock! |
| Congratulations to you---a happy and healthy pregnancy. Thanks for sharing and giving hope! |
| Congratulations!!! I also know someone with a healthy baby girl conceived immediatly after m/c, so wishing you all the best! |
| Congrats! No advice, but wishing youg good luck. |

I just want to say that I just, 1 hour ago, got a nice dark-line positive HPT in the first month after a chemical pregnancy, before getting my period back. I'm still in total shock.
I'm freaked out, like the OP, that this will end in a miscarriage, but I wanted to share my news because obsessively reading posts on DCUM about what others are going through has been a really huge help to me as I have been trying to get through these last 5 weeks or so. I wish all of you great luck and hearty health. |
OP here - congrats!!! Great news
