please suggest a good kid's shoe for street or parking lot soccer

Looking for recommendations for my 9-year-old daughter. We play a lot of street soccer. Her running shoes don't give her good side-to-side mobility.

Any suggestions?

My son was the best player on his Futsal travel team the last 2 years and did just fine in his regular sneakers as did several other kids on the team.

There is nothing about the required traction for futsal or street soccer that should necessitate going out to get another pair of shoes.

Not that it matters but they are off the shelf asics from the neighborhood shoe store.

Any futsal shoe. Nike tiempos are popular.

Good to know you have success playing with regular sneakers. In our experience anytime we play a team in futsal where the majority of the kids are wearing regular sneakers we end up implementing a 5 pass rule before halftime.

To the OP, I would recommend just getting a decent pair of futsal shoes that work for your budget and use for street/court playing. That way you can use for both. No reason to have another pair beyond that, but if you insist I would say something like a samba would be a good choice.

Go with Adidas Sambas They are great for futsal and your kid will have a dope casual sneaker after futsal season to rock with jeans.

Street soccer shoes? Samba. They're a bit heavier and stronger than most futsal shoes.

Indoor futsal court? Plenty of Nike or Adidas models at the soccer shop.

Came here to say the same thing, they are indestructible, and my kids use them for indoor soccer and as regular shoes.

"In our experience anytime we play a team in futsal where the majority of the kids are wearing regular sneakers we end up implementing a 5 pass rule before halftime." That's funny.

Agree on the Sambas, especially for younger kids. They are awesome shoes. There is a reason they are one of the best selling Adidas shoes and over 70 years old.
