Arsenal to 2nd division?

They sacked Unai Emery for less. They brought in Guardiola’s assistant thinking they’d be another Man City.

$25 they’ll be relegated 16 years after the invincibles’ season

Yes very possible.

Arsenal haven't been out of any English first division for over 100 years... incredible run.

Probably not

Oh god. I haven’t been keeping up this season. That would be beyond tragic.

I’m not here to say what should or shouldn’t be posted here but this is like the 3rd or 5th similar thread that has attempted to start up pro soccer discussions.

Nothing wrong with that but they have died a sad death because first and foremost this is a local centric forum. There are other soccer forums that cater to this kind of discussion and you might find more lively interaction elsewhere.

Just a thought.

Carry on.

It’s mostly parents(who are not soccer fan and do not watch high level soccer) who discuss middle school and high school age soccer. It actually good to have other discussion here. There is so much more to the sport.

Yes, this is a parent/DMV residential centric forum. Imagine coming here to discuss any professional sports. It just isn't the first stop for that. And I know forums that do discuss pro soccer at the level you wish. This has never been and pretty much never will be that forum. And even more to the point, this forum doesn't have to apologize for it either. It isn't fair to say that parents don't care about the pro game or various leagues but there are better forums more suited to that lively discussion. And those forums are not particularly good at discussing local interests either.

Peace

As awful a season as they’re having, I think the Blunts, Baggies, Fulham and Burnley have much more to worry about.

Their last three EPL fixtures before the end of the year are Everton, Chelsea and Brighton & Hove Albion. It’s safe to say they’ll end up the year in the bottom 4 and will make the news. It’s very possible Wembley will be a 2nd tier stadium next year. Crazy but the squad is deplorable.

Everton 2-1 Arsenal

Shit’s looking bad

There hasn’t been a second division in English football since 2003. And the second tier since of English football has not been called the second division since 1992!

Arsenal are bad but they will not be relegated to the Championship.

Also, they pay at The Emirates, not Wembley.
