Same with grey kitchens?
Are we starting to move back to more neutral wood tones? |

I think light kitchens will always be in style to whatever degree, even if tastes in backsplashes/flooring changes, but definitely seems to be a growing trend toward cool wood tones.
That said, those kitchens still seem much lighter than the brown-driven kitchens of yesteryear. |

White kitchens are not and never have been out of style.

This. Just because they are no longer trendy doesn't mean they are "out of style". |

Op it is impossible to get an honest answer to this question when 50 percent of the people on this board put in a white kitchen in the last 5 to 10 years and are invested in white kitchens not being out of style.

Fashion is not the main consideration for a kitchen. The period and architectural style of your house is.
That said, white kitchens become just as dated as other kitchens but not because of the color. It’s usually something else like cabinet profile, flooring, countertops. So as colors go, white is usually a good bet. |
Also it must be said that the white kitchen from Somethings Gotta Give that everyone copied still looks absolutely amazing 17 years later.
Part of what makes it great is that it suits the house. The Intern kitchen is also beautiful but you couldn’t swap them or they wouldn’t make sense in the other house.

| The only reason this would matter is if you're planning to sell very quickly. If you're planning to live with it for a long time, get what you like. Even if you're planning to sell in a few years, who knows what will be popular then, so again get what you like and don't worry. |

Yes, still LOVE the Somethings Gotta Give's kitchen.

No, we used to follow trends and notice they go out of style. Got sick of it and out in a middle of the road white kitchen. |

At any point during the last 70 years, some variation of a white kitchen has been mainstream and in style.
Most other kitchen colors and styles have trended in and out. But you can take a neutral 1990 white kitchen, put in a new countertop backsplash hardware lights and faucet..... and it will probably sell like a new kitchen. Grey was popular for five years and has already been passé for two years. |
